Yes We Did!!!

Scratching my head until I drew blood

Thank you for trying to explain this but with all due respect this is a very typical McCain response. Change the issue.

The original email that Tita sent me only mentioned taxes, therefore, the scope of my defense was limited to taxes and the current economic crises. (my emotional side brought up the smear campaigning that has worked for the republicans since Reagan)

I too thought Ron Paul was an interesting candidate but he's not here now. Unions, school vouchers - correct me if I'm wrong but I don't thing any of my cousins went to public schools so who knows about that? Well, I guess Stephanie does but it is a smaller issue. Sorry.

Unions and the auto industry (and now the rest of the U.S. industry) are a victim of the status quo that is America's deregulated government.

Income - we work very hard and combined we don't make anything close to $250K. Do all your children make more then $250K? So trickle down Reaganomic's doesn't work. And what you call economic growth is actually an intricate house of cards that syphoned money back to the wealthy (apologies to the wealthy on this email but I think you'll live with a little more taxes).

When the base is strong and successful the overall health of the economy grows naturally. If you want to talk about the auto industry it has suffered because the population at large can't afford to buy a car!

Taxes - your model of an economy where growth matched inflation is a boogie man - camp fire tale that has never happened. You speak of very specific things and you say it is documented please offer me links.

Education of a candidate - It is true that I dropped out of college and went back later (when I went back I graduated Cum Laude). But I'm not running to be the leader of the free world. George Bush might have gone to Yale
(undergrad) and Harvard (mba) but I don't consider him to be an intelligent man. Often times intelligence and wealth leads smart and rich people to ignorance. Ignorance eats intelligence like cancer. I'm more interested in Obama's 10+ years as a professor of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School.

"Old Boys Network" - McCain has been inside the beltway since 1982 please view this:

It's time for an outsider with thoughtful ideas.

Filibuster Proof Majority - For you republicans there's nothing more damning than a mandate in our federal government. Talk about giving the dems enough rope to hang themselves with - this is it.

Vote - Tita says that "Your vote is equal to anyone s vote" since you brought it up I'm opposed to the electoral college and it's power to push everyone to the margins - especially in a dominant red or blue state. Do republicans bother voting in DC? Unfortunately, our Vote does not elect the next President - that luxury goes to the members of the electoral college and the supreme court. I think we need to get in and destroy the electoral college from the inside out.

How many more people would vote if their vote actually counted? We may never know.

The system was established by rich, white, land/slave owners - why do we still have it?
